Lori Shore-Mouratoff, MD graduated from UC, San Diego Medical School where she trained in Emergency Medicine. She trained in Internal Medicine at Alameda County Medical Center and is currently a Fellow of Integrative Medicine at the Academy of Integrative Health & Medicine. She has completed her training in medical acupuncture and is a student at the School of Applied Functional Medicine. Dr. Shore-Mouratoff has been practicing in the Northern California, Bay Area since 1998. She teaches Internal Medicine residents at Highland Hospital and volunteers for the non-profit International Center for Integrative Medicine where she teaches integrative and western medicine to Traditional Chinese Medicine residents.
Her practice focuses on primary care integrative medicine, incorporating nutrition, acupuncture, meditation, and behavioral science to advance health. She is a member of the American Academy of Medical Acupuncture and Board Certified in Internal Medicine.
Dr. Shore-Mouratoff received the Resident of the Year award in 2002 upon graduation from her training program. She has also received a U.S. Department of Navy Special Act Award in September 1993 and a U.S. EPA Special Achievement Award in December 1992 for her work to improve the environment
